I specialise in abstract and semi-representational paintings of the landscapes, flora and fauna of Australia. Recent work includes abstracting landscape shapes, fossils (including coelacanths and ammonites), semi-representational landscapes of Shark Bay, the Mid West, the Red Centre, and the gorges of the Pilbara region and local birdlife. A passion for landscape drives my work, as I set out to capture its essence, with colours and textures, appropriate form and line.
Another passion is to visit worldwide contemporary galleries and museums, including those in New York, Washington, Chicago, and England, including The Royal Academy of Arts and Saatchi in London.
